Benefits Account Executive

Hummel Group, Inc. is an independent insurance agency with 8 locations in Ohio and Indiana. Our growing health and benefits team is seeking a full-time Benefits Account Executive.  The location of this position is in Orrville. 

As a Benefits Account Executive, you will:

  • Partner with a Risk Advisor and prospective clients during all phases of the sales and service process.
  • Assist Risk Advisor with preparation of proposals for prospective clients.
  • Manage the renewal process and ensure service levels for clients.
  • Serve as a contact for answering incoming calls and questions from clients.
  • Oversees new case or carrier implementation for the client.
  • Looks for opportunity to develop new accounts and new lines of coverage for existing accounts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.  
  • 1-3 years of client management experience or healthcare-related experience preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active Life and Health License for the State of Ohio within 90 days of employment.  
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.  
  • Willing to work towards and obtain professional industry designations.
