What is the standard measure to judge whether content is great or not? Is it shares, or comments, or views or even word-of-mouth? While there is probably not one answer to this, an argument could be made for total views. Think about shows or movies. To know if something is worthwhile you can see if people never get tired of re-watching it. Whether it's the hit television show Seinfeld or the classic movie Top Gun, most people never turn down an opportunity to watch Elaine do her signature “little kicks” dance or feeling “the need for speed” — even if they've already watched it 20 times.
While we would never equate our recent insurance & risk management articles to these classic works of art, we were interested in…well…what interested you this year.
We combed through our 2019 articles here on our site, as well a video that certainly sparked conversations on the sidelines at our children’s games. Check out the articles our readers had on repeat.
PREVENT FROZEN PIPES IN YOUR HOME

This quick video from Cincinnati Insurance provides some quick prevention tips.
AMISH TAXI INSURANCE
Because of the area we live in, we get a lot of questions about hauling Amish for hire. Often a client comes in to review their personal auto Insurance policy, casually mentioning that they haul Amish. They soon discover personal auto insurance policies do no cover this type of activity since it is a business activity. Personal auto insurance policies cover an individual driving their personal vehicle for personal use. Driving your vehicle for work or when you are getting paid in a “vehicle for hire” or “taxi service” situation, you open yourself up to a different set of liability risks. These different liability risks are rated differently and are not covered in the personal auto policy.
